How it works

From data to map in three steps

No GIS background needed. Here's the whole flow, start to finish — most maps take about a minute.

1 · Upload or paste

Drop a file, paste a dataset URL, or describe in plain English what you need.

2 · AI builds it

Mappt detects the geographic fields, picks a map type, styles the layers, and renders.

3 · Refine & share

Pin charts, adjust styles, export, or publish a link anyone can open.

1. Bring the data you already have

Skip the prep work. Upload a GeoJSON, CSV, or Excel file, paste a link to a public dataset, or just describe the map you want and let the AI go find suitable data.

  • Files: GeoJSON, CSV, Excel
  • URLs to public datasets and APIs
  • Plain-English prompts

2. Watch it come together

The AI reads your data, recognizes latitude/longitude, place names, and region codes, chooses an appropriate map type, and applies sensible colors and legends — automatically.

3. Make it yours, then ship it

Fine-tune styling, add or reorder layers, and pin chart widgets onto the map. When it's ready, export it as an image or data file, or publish a shareable link that anyone can explore — no account needed.
